Soul Trouble 0.6 Devlog

Hello! Once again, it is I, Zan. Now 0.6 was a game changer for me. Why? Because I realized how much the game is missing.

I realized I desperately needed a mission system so I can progress with main story, and add a lot more stuff as missions rather than affection events. And since I like making things easier for me for future uses, I tried to do the same for missions, failed terribly, wasted 3 days, then spent another 2 just making the mission system.

Mission screen design is a placeholder. Kind of? I mean I wanted to go for a scroll type of look but that was, for some reason, way harder than I thought. I wanted to go for a unique design but there isn't much I can do since I'm limited with renpy. So uh, yeah.

I've also realized that you can't keep track of how many H scenes a girl has, if you don't count backstories. But re-designing the entire menu would take a long time. Since it's nothing game breaking, I decided to do it later.

So, yeah. I'll also make the hints a lot shorter and more straight-forward once I change the menu design itself. I haven't even decided on the design yet but we ball.

Anyways, here's what's new in 0.7:

ADDED:

• Continuation of the Main Story (1 animation)

• Added affection and H-events for Zephi (5 NSFW animations)

• Added a Handjob animation for Vessia as an option for her first H-event (3 NSFW animations)

• Added repeatable H-scenes for Zephi

• Added a Mission System (unlocks through story / Placeholder design for now)

• You can now bind Zephi's soul in the story and summon her to your room

• Added Zephi's room H-events (10 NSFW animations in total.)

• Added Zephi's second backstory

• Added new AI translations ( German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish,)

CHANGED:

• Vessia's Footjob scene is now optional

• Changed the main menu design

• Changed the main menu and sandbox music

FIXED:

• Two typos

• Re-wrote a few older dialogues

The translations are all AI, so don't blame me if it sounds funny. It most likely does lol. I will never in life have time to check these translations one by one, so if you want to help make them better, make sure to join discord and use #translations channel to point wrong translations out!

Why Zephi event only update you ask? Because, my dear soul, the mission system took way longer than I thought it would. But Zephi still got a lot of content so ey, it's fine, right? And added Handjob animations for Vessia too!

I'm gonna focus on character stories for a while, since I feel like that's what the game is lacking right now. Actual good character stories.
